Haley and I were making lunch, and she was helping me slice the tomatoes. This was our conversation.
H- Mom I can say tomato is Spanish!
me- Oh really, how do you say it?
H- Pineapple!
She is so funny. Dora is her favorite show and she says Hola, and counts to five in spanish. She decided to try out some other words I guess. Who knew potato, patato- tomato, pineapple?
That is so cute!! I love that little girl. My kids love Dora, too, and are always trying out "new" Spanish words. It's like they think that if the word they say sounds different than the way we would say it in English, it MUST be in Spanish....or, you know, Jibberish! ;)
