Ramblings..

I have been dealing with some left over feelings of a bad situation that happened this past summer.  I have prayed and prayed, and just haven't felt the peace I needed too.  I thought I had worked out everything that I needed too.  Shortly after this situation I was told something that hurt to the core.  Never in my life have I ever been through anything like this or want to go through it again.  My friend Jen has a compilation of thoughts and scriptures that she let me read.  There was a quote that said " Picture your problem, now put it in your hands.  Close your eyes and hand it over to the Lord".  I quickly realized that this is what I must do.  I turned it over to Heavenly Father.  I feel the peace that I desired.  I am so grateful for that little quote and reminder.  I am so grateful for the peace of the gospel.  I know that trials will come big and small and hopefully we can continue to hand them over to the Lord.  I love my life, and I am so blessed to have Mark.  He is so great to me.  He is always striving to make me happy.  I love his smile, and his laughter can brighten up a room.  I never thought I would love him more than I did when we got married, but everyday I love him more.  I love the kind of dad he is.  He spends hour and hours playing with our kids.  He is awesome!  He constantly reminds me that "Life is to short, so don't stress."  I hope that quote will help someone along the way.  This is what I know! This is how I feel!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day at our house was very simple.  We decorated the table and bought a heart shaped pizza!  Very Simple, but a great time to be with our kids.  Pizza by candlelight .

This morning Haley said to me "Mom why did the reindeer shoot people with arrows"? I  couldn't figure out what she was talking about.  She then sang "You know dasher and dancer, prancer, comet, cupid"  Aa HA!!! She was thinking cupid the reindeer instead of the Valentine's Love Cupid.  We had a little talk!  She is always thinking up the craziest things!   In the words of my cute neighbor "Love her guts".

Annie

The day finally arrived for the much anticipated show.  The girls could hardly contain their excitement.   They have worked so hard on this little show for 5 months.  After the first 2 months of rehersals, half of the cast quit.  This was so stressful on the cute little 12 &13 year old directors.  They asked Abby if her little sister could be Molly.  Knowing full well Haley would be a handful for them, I told them no.  After a month of searching for a "Molly" I decided I would let Haley go to one rehersal just to see if it would work.  They called after and begged me to let her.  I am so glad I did.  She loved it!  It gave me a break..WIN WIN for all!  She stole the show with her expressions & sassy voice.  She even stole some of Abby's lines.  Thanks to all who came and supported our girls!

Christmas 2010

We suprised our kids this year with a trip to Disneyland with 22 people total in the party.  Terry & Cyrrena, Tami & Rob and Wayne & Melinda all came. This was the only way to go to Disneyland.  The kids loved being with their cousins.

Haley especially loved the older cousins because they packed her around and gave in to her every request!

 We decorated our cars.

We took a day off from Disneyland to go  to Universal Studios.  The Grinch was hirlarious!
