A night of concerts

Haley had her first dance recital last night at Northridge High School. She did so great. We couldn't believe she actually danced every step. Right before she went on stage she said "I'm not dancing." We were so proud of her. Grandma Welch, and Mama and Papa came to watch.

Poor Addison

We went to Bountiful last night to visit Grandma.  Haley was playing with the barbies on the floor.  She was in a crazy, silly mood which was great.  She untied Wayne's shoes, and hid Clark's shoes.  Then she turned her attention to Addison who was laying on the floor.  She was dressing and undressing the barbies.  She said quietly to Addison "do you know what these are called"  "barbie's boobs."  I need Addison to verify her exact words..  He was laughing so hard at Haley.  She is so naughty!!  I love that she can embarrass other people too.  She is crazy, adorable and naughty all in one.

I'm Happy

I looked at Mark last night on his birthday and for the first time in our married life I realized that I am truly HAPPY!  What a great feeling it is to be truly happy.  I feel so blessed to have a fantastic husband who loves me.  I have three children you bring me much happiness and sadness all at the same time.  I finally realized that life is to short to complain and not be happy.  I don't want to be stuck in a rut..and let each day pass me by.  Yesterday in RS Michelle my neighbor was talking about her little girl going into kidney failure a year ago.  She realize that nothing else mattered except getting Maya better.  She had been offended by someone and she had to forgive that person.  She said she immediately forgave and that she had a new perspective.  I thought about all the people I have offended and how I have been offended.  I hope anyone I have offended will forgive me and I am doing the same.  Life is too short.....

Nativities or Activities?

I watched my friends twin boys yesterday.  They came over at 7:00am which is super early at our house.  I was trying to keep Haley asleep because she would've been grumpy waking that early.  As I was helping to get the boys shoes untied I was telling one of them we needed to be quiet because Haley was asleep and Chan said "No she's not."  Anyway Haley was standing there wide awake with a HUGE smile on her face.  She was so excited they were here to play.  She showed them the Christmas trees then walked over to my Willow Tree Nativity and said "We can't touch this because it's my moms SPECIAL ACTIVITY!"  So Cute..  so they followed her over and just looked at it and started talking about baby Jesus.  I love how innocent children are.  They knew more about the manger scene than I would've thought.  So now I am trying to teach Haley they are Nativities..maybe I will just let her call them Activities!
