Happy Thanksgiving

I woke up this morning thinking about Thanksgiving, and all the things I am thankful for. I am so thankful for my little Haley. I have really been struggling with this cute little active, full of attitude little girl. This morning when I opened my eyes she was laying next to me in bed. She said good morning Mama Mia! That's what she calls me now! I then had this conversation with her:

Me: Haley how come you are so cute?
Haley: Cause you're my mom.
Haley: Mama Mia how come you are so cute?
Me: Cause your my cute baby
Haley: My not a baby, My a big GIRLAY (girl)

I am thankful when she talks sweet likes this.

I am thankful for my Abby. She is the most kind hearted and loveable child. She is always thinking of others. She has taken our cute little neighbor under her wing. She picks her up everyday and walks to the bus with her, then takes her to her line at school. Today I dropped both of them off at school, and I watched them walk together holding hands. Abby gave her a big hug, and said have a great day. I love that she is so sweet.

I am thankful for my Stockton. He is such a great kid. He has had a big change this year with going to Jr. High. He has really stepped up with taking control of his homework. YEA for that. I am thankful that he is Haley's hero! She loves her big brother and he is a great sitter. I am thankful that I can get away once in awhile.

Finally and most important of all, I am so thankful for my hubby Mark. I have loved him since I was 11 years old. He is a great guy, and I love him more and more everyday. He is the hardest worker I know. I am thankful for his sense of humor, he always makes me laugh. I am thankful for his daily pranks he plays on me (most of the time ; the vaseline on the toliet seat wasn't very fun. ) I am thankful for his warm hands at cold football games, and his warm feet at night in bed. I am thankful for his hugs and kisses. I'm thankful that he loves to cuddle with me. I'm thankful he takes me on dates once a week. I'm thankful that he listens to my concerns, and problems. I'm thankful that he loves our kids, and spends time with them. I'm thankful that he loves our families uncondtionally, and never judges anyone. I'm thankful........

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Girl's Night Out

A bunch of my friends and I went to the midnight showing of New Moon last night. All night long I wanted to take a picture of our group of 10, but someone was always gone. We met at 8:30 for dinner at the Olive Garden then off to wait for around 2 hours to get in to the theatre. I loved the movie, and it was so much fun to escape with friends and be without kids, and just have fun. Thanks to all of you who went with me. I had a blast!

Getaway

Last weekend Mark and I took a quick trip to Vegas to visit our friends, and a getaway for ourselves. We decided to drive this time. I hate riding in cars for a long period of time. My legs have poor circulation, so I figet the whole time. I decided I would take my computer and work on scrapbooking. I was able to get 15 layouts finished. Oh how I love digital!!!!! We forgot to take pictures while down there, but soon realized we really wouldn't be leaving our hotel room very much for a photo opportunity. It's not what you're thinking! On Monday night we thought Mark was having a heart attack. He had severe pains down his left arm, and was cold and clammy. I was insisting that we take him to the ER becuase there is family history of Heart problems in his family. He wouldn't hear of this. After a night of no sleep and moaning he finally felt better. Tuesday we decided to go sight seeing and after lunch I start feeling sick, and realized I better get back to the hotel. I started up with the worst bladder infections I have ever had. We fould a clinic in Walgreen's and was able to get some meds. The worst part was driving home having to stop every 30 mins. to go to the bathroom. So the moral of this story is: Never leave home without bladder medicine, and heart burn medicine. CRAZINESS

Halloween

Haley and Abby trunk or treating

Pink Leopard! She has so many dimples that everytime I tried to draw a straight line she would smile and the lines went crooked. Oh well!
Cute Costumes!

Abby is a FuNkY wItCh!

Going out with cousins...Payton, Drew, Nicole, Natalie

We celebrated Halloween a little differently this year. Mark and I went to the Utah football game. I was so sad to leave my kids to trick or treating on their on, but they had so much fun without us. My mom took Haley and Stockton, while Abby went to a friends house. I was also sad because Stockton is twelve now so he felt he was too old. I would have let him go anyway. We had fun painting on spiders and whiskers on the girls. Stockton and Haley were able to meet up with other cousins and trick or treat.

Park City

My cute hubby waiting to take me on in a game of Ping-Pong while the kids were swimming.

Abby and Haley loved watching movies on the pull out sofa.

We played games so late into the night, somehow the kids were still ready to watch monsters vrs. Aliens. I wish I had their energy.

Abby swimming! The pool was half indoors and you swim under a gate to go to the heated outdoor pool. The kids loved running and jumping into the hot tubs then getting out to see who could stand the cold the longest. Stockton usually won.

Stockton and Haley...

We went on a fun family getaway to Park City a few weeks ago to the Westgate Resort. We love that place. Mark and I have looked into getting a time share there for a few years now, but it has always been to expensive. They invited us up there for a 2 night stay for free if we attended their meeting. We were shocked what the economy has done to the prices their. We actually were offered a great deal for a huge discount so we did it. Now we can go vacation and have a full kitchen and a separate rooms. We are thrilled! Haley slept the whole way to Park City while wearing head phones to listen to a movie. Everytime we tried to take them off she would grab them back while she continued to sleep. Crazy girl!
