Dad and Mom invited us to go on a trip to LA, all expenses paid. So we jumped at the chance to go HOME. We had such a great time being together and sharing stories and laughing. The main purpose was to watch the LSU vs. Alabama game. We toured the LSU campus which was beautiful. Check out the trees! Some of us flew into New Orleans and toured there first. It is amazing how bad some places are down there still because of Katrina. We drove through the lower wards where the worst flooding happened. There are stills X's on the houses with numbers marking the dead. Grandma Welch and Holly came to stay with the kids. They did great! When we got home Haley said "You need to go back where you came from and let Grandma stay"."
